Hello! I'm Lleucu - welcome to my website. I'm a Welsh illustrator currently based in beautiful Macedonia, where I live with my husband, our dogs and two bunnies.
My work is inspired by a childhood growing up in the mountains of North Wales, and the love for nature, folklore, travel and languages this fostered. My one true love is illustrating children's books, but I've also had the opportunity to work on murals, animations, book covers and branding projects. In 2019 I graduated from the University of South Wales with a 1st Class Degree in Illustration, then spent the next few months working as a language assistant in Corsica. In April 2020 I took the plunge and became a full-time illustrator, and haven't stopped since.
