In 2018 I received a scholarship that allowed me to travel to Chubut, Argentina, to host a series of workshops in various schools in the province, followed by an exhibition of the work in the Playa Union Library.

While travelling around Chubut and Yr Wladfa, I was fascinated to learn about the relationship between the Welsh settlers and the native Tehuelche, who helped the Welsh survive on the barren Argentine desert.

I was fascinated by the Tehuelche story of Calafate - to my eye, there were similarities between this legend and the Welsh legend of Blodeuwedd, and so for a couple of years I worked on a Welsh adaption.
