Illustrations from my first author-illustrator book, Chwedl Calaffate. The book is a Welsh adaption inspired by the Tehuelche legend of Calafate, after travelling to Patagonia in 2018.

 

The book is the product of a scholarship that allowed me to travel to Chubut, Argentina, thanks to the Blaenau Ffestiniog Council's initiative to send young people from the area to Rawson after the towns were twinned in 2015.
